EASTER AT THE CANBERRA KIRBY'S

Coast Coopers headed down to the Nation's Capital and had a great Easter at the Kirbys.

We managed to squeeze as much as we could into the 4 day long weekend, including Questacon, National Library, National Gallery, Mount Ainslie, The Mint (Patrick's favourite!).

Photo at the Legends of League 100 Years Exhibition at the National Museum. This is great and its FREE, and only on until May this year. Highly recommended!

It wouldn't be a trip to Canberra without Dinner at the "TRADIES" where we saw the remainig 6 dedicated RAIDER'S FANS going off like a frog in a sock, in the main bar, watching them whip the Panthers on the BIG SCREEN!

On Easter Sunday we hired bikes and rode around Lake Burley Griffin. Kiera, Kylie & Aunt Jen cause havoc in a Pedal Car (sorry, no photos of the CHAOS!), while the Coast Coopers did the 17 kilometer round trip around the Lake.
The highlight was riding past the Governor General's house at Yarralumla and seeing the Kangaroos on the lawn (and catching out the ASIO security guy in the Gate House watching the NRL on Foxtel in the gate house, instead of looking out for Terrorists on the hundreds of surveillance cameras!!!).

Thanks to Uncle James, Aunty Marg & Tour Guide Kiera for a great Easter!

WHAT DO WE HAVE AT KATE'S PARTY?

What do we have at Kate's Party?

We have ice cream! Well, we did when we were kids. Now we have Chardy & Jason's Home Brew, and some wierd alcoholic Cranburry Juice!

Photos of impromptu BBQ Lunch for our Baby Cousin who is now 30! If Kate is the youngest Cousin, that makes us all really old!!!!!

Good to see Uncle & Aunty Cath doing their bit for the environment, recycling Matt's 21st Birthday Banner! They have interchangeable numbers if anyone wants to borrow it.

Check out this photo: is this a coincidence, or did these four women ring each other up in the morning to coordinate their fashion wardrobe?

HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY KATE !!!!

Christmas at Moruya...

The Country Coopers are back online!

Sorry it's been a while in between blogs. Yes! we have finally moved!!! Our new address is:

65 Main Street
CUDAL NSW 2864
(02) 63642192

You'll be pleased to know we have new tennants moving into Legacy ave on 14th Feb, with exceptional references, Mary has applied for the position along side me (as the EN I have is reducing her hours) so will be working 3 days ftnt up to 5 days ftnt in 6 months - another cooper couple working together and making good dough!! hehe.
Everything is great here, moving slowly on the unpacking side but everything in place with school, work and community stuff. The girls do Club swimming (swim season only)which they love - as we also live 3 doors down from the pool and have season membership. I had a cracker of a game of Bowls at the club here on Oz Day and have been asked to join their touring competition!....thanks nan. While Mary was face painting for the kids on OZ Day, she was asked to sing in a community production and they haven't even heard her or even know that she sings. There's a Drama group starting here next term which Charlotte is interested in, and the school on Canowindra (where the girls go) has private piano lessons after school which Maddie is interested in. The girls catch the Bus every school morning at 8 which stops directly across the road, then drops them off exactly out the front at 4 (or if Mary'sworking with me, bus will drop them on corner of the hospital and she walks down to meet them!)
So as you can see we're settling in well and are getting very busy very quickly!
But the town is great, the people are great and the travelling is nil!!! Wianamatta Road , Here we Come!
