We managed to squeeze as much as we could into the 4 day long weekend, including Questacon, National Library, National Gallery, Mount Ainslie, The Mint (Patrick's favourite!).
Photo at the Legends of League 100 Years Exhibition at the National Museum. This is great and its FREE, and only on until May this year. Highly recommended!
It wouldn't be a trip to Canberra without Dinner at the "TRADIES" where we saw the remainig 6 dedicated RAIDER'S FANS going off like a frog in a sock, in the main bar, watching them whip the Panthers on the BIG SCREEN!
On Easter Sunday we hired bikes and rode around Lake Burley Griffin. Kiera, Kylie & Aunt Jen cause havoc in a Pedal Car (sorry, no photos of the CHAOS!), while the Coast Coopers did the 17 kilometer round trip around the Lake.
The highlight was riding past the Governor General's house at Yarralumla and seeing the Kangaroos on the lawn (and catching out the ASIO security guy in the Gate House watching the NRL on Foxtel in the gate house, instead of looking out for Terrorists on the hundreds of surveillance cameras!!!).
Thanks to Uncle James, Aunty Marg & Tour Guide Kiera for a great Easter!
